Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present the archaeobotanical results carried out on two carbonized grain samples that were recovered from Căpâlna (Alba County). The citadel from Căpâlna has played an important role into defensive system created around dacian citadels from Orăştiei Mountains. Both samples containing the carbonized seeds were identified as belonging to the Cerealia family.
