Summary/Abstract: Council Regulation (EC) No 2201/2003 of 27 November 2003 concerning jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in matrimonial matters and the matters of parental responsibility, repealing Regulation (EC) No 1347/2000 shall apply in civil matters relating to divorce, legal separation or marriage annulment and the attribution, exercise, delegation, restriction or termination of parental responsibility. Among other things, this Regulation has the rules on recognition and enforcement of judgments relating to parental responsibility. Also, this Act regulates the grounds of non-recognition for judgments relating to parental responsibility. This Regulation applies from 1 March 2005.
