CARRYING OUT THE SPECIAL INVESTIGATIVE MEASURE “CONTROL OF THE TRANSMISSION OR RECEIPT OF MONEY, SERVICES, OR OTHER MATERIAL OR INTANGIBLE VALUES CLAIMED, ACCEPTED, EXTORTED OR OFFERED” IN ORDER TO INVESTIGATE CORRUPTION IN SPORTS

Summary/Abstract: Judicial practice shows that the phenomenon of corruption is present in all social spheres, including in sports activities. Sometimes, the only solution to detect, prevent, combat, and investigate this phenomenon is possible with the involvement of special investigative measures. In our scientific approach, we aim to analyze the role of the special investigative measure "Control of the transmission or receipt of money, services, or other material or intangible values claimed, accepted, extorted or offered" in the process of combating and investigating corruption in sporting events. At the same time, we will describe the legal content of the special investigation measure illustrated in the legislation of the Republic of Moldova and we will intervene with some proposals for this purpose.
