Summary/Abstract: The 1812 by the signing of the peace treaty in Bucharest, territory between the Prut and Nistru rivers was annexed to the Russian Empire, under the name of Bessarabia. Until annexation in the Principality of Moldova there is a rather complicated hierarchy of nobility which is divided into chancellors, treasurers, backrest etc. Each of these categories had certain state or public attributes. After entering the administrative organization Regulation of the region Bessarabia, approved on April 29, 1818 there is a tendency both the Russian administration, as well as the local social elite give nobility organized character similar to that of other regions and gubernias of the Russian Empire. According to the Regulation in Bessarabia was created a supreme deliberative body of nobility through Nobility Deputies Assembly, Bessarabian nobles had the right to elect and remove from their positions the officials of regional institutions and to appoint the guardian of land properties. Nobility Assembly of Deputies may choose from among the nobility, regional marshal of the nobility, but had to be confirmed by the military governor. Within the competence of the nobility regional marshal was satisfying the noble community of Bessarabia and defend the widows and orphans interests of this social category. Bessarabian Nobility Assembly Deputies has activated during 1821-1917.
