Current Situation in Slavic Folklore Studies in Ukraine

Summary/Abstract: This article gives an overview of the modern Slavonic folkloristics in Ukraine from the end of the 20th century until present. The emphais is placed on the works of the folklorists – who worked at Maksym Rylsky Institute of Art Studies, Folklore and Ethnology as well as on their international activities, especially their collaboration with the Committee of Studying Slavonic Folklore of International Committee of the Slavs.
