Design and analysis of positions (work design) and workload of social workers in the Directorates „Social Assistance“

Summary/Abstract: This article has highlighted the current problem with the overload of social workers at Social Assistance Directorates (SADs). Analysis of the regulations relevant to the workload of social workes is presented. Also comparison of regulations concerning workload of teachers and social workers at different settings is presented. Finally, a possible solution to the problem of social workers overload at SADs is outlined, namely job design and analysis as a modern concept in human resources management theory and practice.
