Summary/Abstract: The article describe the masks game in the Gârleni commune, Bacău county, referring to the ancient game of goat and of the officers that accompanies on it, their particularities; also, there are described the masked „jidani”, detached from the suite of the goat, whose hats made of feathers remind the viewers of the giants – characters of the Romanian mythology, and also of the Aztec civilization of warriors.
