Summary/Abstract: In 2008 started the European Project of Restauration of the cult monument Răchitoasa Monastery, from Bacău County, intitled: „Restauration of the Răchitoasa Monastery Ensemble in order to be part of the tourist circuit”. In accordance with the normative acts relating of the historical monuments, in Răchitoasa Monastery has been conducted an archaeological survey by professor dr. Artimon, from „Iulian Antonescu ”Museum Complex, Bacău County (expert in medieval archaeology, renown researcher ofthe Romanian Medieval Times, that has conducted the archaeological discoveries of Târgu Trotuș) and dr. Simona Farcaș, archaeologist. The archaeological report, has not been published since and now, by doing so it is important to complete the informațion we have of Răchitoasa Monastery.
