Summary/Abstract: The article takes a closer look at Liu Cixin’s trilogy “Remembrance of Earth’s Past” as an example of sociological imagination narrative and the science fiction genre unique ability to be a medium for such narratives. The author argues that the study of such exemplary science fiction narratives could provide some insights into the early formation of the technical zeitgeist of a given time.
