Summary/Abstract: The main intention of this paper is to highlight the importance of treating the issues of Educational Management from the perspective of andragogical relevance of the reality to which it refers. This paper elaborates the position that the encounter between Educational Management and Andragogy - both on the level of the praxis and the level of theory - would offer answers to some of the basic problems of the two fields at this moment of their individual developments. The author argues that this sort of encounter is needed for Educational Management in order for it to gain the purpose that will be in accordance with the values of educational context, in which the activities of educational management, leadership and administration are taking place. The emphasis is, therefore, put on the phenomenon of human relations. In this paper, it is treated as the element which brings Educational Management to a close encounter with pedagogical and andragogical reality of a school. The relevance of human relations for Educational Management is elaborated theoretically and empirically. The empirical part of the part of the paper is based on the findings gained from qualitative analysis of reports of school principals in Bosnia and Herzegovina related to the treatment of human relations management in their praxes.
