Summary/Abstract: Given that the European Union is facing a crisis in terms of migration, international protection has gained a fundamental role at the level of the European Union. Although the number of asylum seekers decreased at the beginning of 2017 compared to the previous year, the granting of protection remains a situation that is not manageable for the European Union.
