Summary/Abstract: The article aims to present the concept of subjective well-being asa proposal for future preschool and early schoolteachers to be used inthe process of educating to values. The author puts forward the thesisthat it is necessary for students to define and understand subjectivewell-being and to become aware that a teacher in a Polish educationalinstitution must rely on their own prophylaxis in this regard in orderto create a positive personal model. The article highlights the needfor daily, systematic and long-term care for subjective well-being inorder to cultivate self-control. Teaching efficiency is closely correlatedwith the teacher’s personal well-being as the teacher not only providesknowledge but also supplies an example which is worth following whenlearning social and cognitive values.
