Calendars from Sibiu and Buda with References to Popular Practices of Home Medicine

Summary/Abstract: At the end of the XVIIIth century and the beginning of the next, the thinking of the population in Transylvania slowly changed; people began to think about life and tried to improve it, including the health issues. Knowing about the deficiency of information, publishers began to print medical books and also translated and inserted medical information into any type of book, including the calendars. There was a growing interest of population in the medical books, especially the proper diet and cure for certain diseases.
