Summary/Abstract: This article aims to demonstrate the theme of the dream as it evokes that incomprehensible universe, in which the mind is well detached from reality and any representation, allows the unconscious to create disturbing images and takes us into a world made sometimes of past and sometimes of future, made of surreal situations and impossible logical developments, and the Pre-raphaelites who presented the theme of the dream with a strong romantic participation.
