Summary/Abstract: Since the existence of the word, human beings have always felt the need for an expression. Although this was verbal at first, it continued until today both orally and in writing with the invention of writing. As Aziz Nesin puts it, “There was no word that was not said under the sun.” The fact that the text has direct or direct affinity, similarity or contrast with the oral and written texts before it is due to this. This postmodernism-centered study has been prepared as a short review of Orhan Pamuk’s novel Kar named in terms of intertextuality. In this article, firstly, based on the definitions of intertextuality, the summary of the book and the sections containing the intertextuality elements were tried to be determined. The intertextuality established by Orhan Pamuk in this novel has directed the reader to different sources with the referents.
