THE IMPACT OF THE CURRENT FINANCIAL CRISIS ON BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Summary/Abstract: In this paper we propose to analyze which were the effects of the current financial crisis on business environment in Central and Eastern European countries. Specifically we want to see the proportion of firms that had difficulties in continuing their activity or had to resort to restructuring operations. Then we will make a comparison between countries, identifying the countries where the effects of the crisis were stronger and those in which the effects of the crisis were felt weaker.
