Summary/Abstract: On the ocassion of a jubilee related to Meyerhold´s leave from the theatre of an actress and entrepreneur V. K. Komissarževska, a theorist and translator A. Kret is in broader connections summarizing the destiny of one of the most outstanding individuals of the Russian theatre of the 20-th century. He is dealing mainly with Meyerhold ´s professional development in contrast to Stanislavky´s conception of a theatre, and is bringing his attention to Meyerhold´s most important theatrical manifestations in which he had formulated his own visions on staging as an autonomous and free from literary text artistic shape.
