Summary/Abstract: This Study treats the issue of Macedonian cultural identity through national imaginary constructions, i.e. immense epic narratives. They are identification protocols that have important role in determining community identities and in facing their political stability. Bolen Dojcin and Lepa Angelina are indicated as an important Macedonian cultural and identification core in which the idea of nation is distinctively sexualized, and the myth of the hero is dramatically distorted as is Macedonian identity through the time. The prostrated hero body, with surprising courage and reversion logic, makes its last step defending Angelina’s dignity, that is, survival of disputed nation. Viewpoint denoting the beginning of establishment of the complex system of cultural events has an important role for identity. As a result any attempt of selfidentification failed in conditions of continuous external demolish of identification processes, unfortunately reflecting the modern situations of Macedonian nation.
