Summary/Abstract: Initially, this article seeks to analyze how the fabrication of the New World has been articulated in the state economy of the Albanian dictatorial regime, on what ideological and materialistic premises was based and formed the socialist worldview and which state and scientific mechanisms has reinforced its contours. Certain aspects of ethnographic and folkloric knowledge in dictatorial situation will be further analyzed for having reinforced the universalistic claims of the socialist worldview and at the same time impoverished or reduced cosmological configurations in traditional Albanian society.
