Aspects Concerning Free-Access to Information in Public Library

Summary/Abstract: Public library - which is one of the most important instruments and meanings of spreading information - must ensure the access to knowledge to all those requiring this right. This paper is dealing with the fundamental internal and international documents that guarantee free access to information. It also deals with the indentification of those terms that condition, in our opinion, the taking into consideration of this right to access information in public library; and we consider that these terms are: an appropriate juridical law, concerning this right; managerial politics practiced in public librairies; librarians free-will, their all-around education and professional training, their ability in cooperating and communicating with others.
