Summary/Abstract: One of the most detailed legal provisions regarding special services and secret ways to gather information, as well as on judicial control in the protection of national security, is that of the United States.Taking into account the different legal systems, scales and traditions, some of the normative decisions in this specific area of the American legislation can serve as a guide for future changes regarding the special services and the specialized justice in Bulgaria.
