Some Aspects Concerning Library Management at Children’ s Library from Mureş County Library

Summary/Abstract: In nowadays society, public libraries need to adopt realistic managerial programmes and projects, according to the general rules of business world, in order to be able to respond to readers requests. The first part of this paper presents the evolution of the management, both as a notion and as domain of activity; it insists upon management’ s types, its functions and, among them, the cultural type is naturally emphasized. The last part of the paper presents the specific activities of children’ s library from Mureş County Library.
