Summary/Abstract: Vasile Copilu Cheatră has influenced the development of Romanian cultural life in the second half of the 20th century. His activity, both as a school - fonder and poet, is very important for our culture and especially for Mureş County, because his connections to this place were quite friendly. He was many times invited as a special guest to Mureş County Library cultural activities; he appreciated local intelectuals works and ideas. After his death - on September 1997 - his widow wife, Ana, decided to offer some of his books to Mureş County Library.
