Summary/Abstract: In the last days of February 2004, Mureş County Library, with the support of many cultural and administrative institutions from Mureş County, decided to celebrate one of the most important Romanian schoolars: Gheorghe Şincai at his 250 birth anniversary. The celebration program was quite generous because it included three exhibitions, a national symposium and a trip to the places Şincai was spiritually connected with: Săbed, Şincai (Şamşud) and Râciu.
