Summary/Abstract: A general view over Şincai’ s life and activity offer us enough reasons to keep him in mind and to honour him. Şincai proved himself to be a very educated man, a perfect school manager and a prolific schools founder. More than that, by writing the first Romanian handbooks, he succeeded the Transylvanian educational system.
