Summary/Abstract: The article provides information on the changing role of leadership in the human resource management during the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the article is to describe what their subordinates expect from managers and to present the opinions of the respondents on the preferred leadership paradigm.The basis for obtaining the main conclusions were individual in-depth interviews conducted with managers employed in corporations in Poland.
