Use of Agile in Project Management in the Public Sector

Summary/Abstract: This work has theoretical and empirical scientific character, it concerns a using of Agile in project management in public sector. This analysis initially focuses on theoretical aspects – the project and its management core also on benefits of using Agile. Subsequently, are indicated a various conditions which are related, as well as a part of researcher methods focused on the possibilities analysis of application of discussed solutions in public sector. The main goal of this article is to analyze a possibility of using Agile in project management in public sector. The methodology addresses this issue, breaking it down into problems, hypotheses, and preliminary grounds for conducting this study. The empirical part of this article includes an analysis of source materials, but is also related to a questionnaire method, independently developed for the purpose of the study. The work confirms that the use of Agile in project management in the public sector brings many benefits, improving work and increasing its efficiency.
