Summary/Abstract: Poland’s absorption of EU funds for the period 2014-2020 is more than €80 billion. These funds are mainly intended to invest not only in the development of the economy, businesses, the modernization of infrastructure, digitization, but also scientific research and its commercialization, or the prevention of social exclusion and professional activation. This article is a description of the financial objectives of the Union’s cohesion policy and the scope of the money allocated according to the different initiatives supported by the Community.
