Summary/Abstract: One of the major figures in the history of the Romanian Church, as well as of the Romanian culture, St. Antim Ivireanul had an intense printing activity in several centers in Romania. In 1694, he established in Snagov, where he reorganized the place and installed the printing press, which was used to bring out to light many books. One of the books printed there was the Akathist from 1698, which is analyzed in detail in this paper. The Akathist is also a proof of the fact that the activity of the printing press in Snagov was continuous, and not an interrupted one.
