Summary/Abstract: The European perspectives are very promising when it comes to digitizing enforcement. In fact, the stakes whether legal, economic or even ethical are considerable, and such action by the European institutions would meet a real need, all the more so as it is true that problems of this nature cannot be tackled effectively at the unique national level. Under the auspices of the Scientific Council, the International Union of Bailiffs is currently working on a Global Code for the Application of Digital Assets. Central issues regarding access to digital (or crypto active) assets, the applicable law, as well as the general principles governing civil enforcement proceedings in relation to such assets should be addressed from a dual perspective: national and international.
