Genitive and singular forms of masculine nouns in Sprawa chędoga o męce Pana Chrystusowej and Ewangelia Nikodema (codex of Wawrzyniec from Łasko, 1544)

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the analysis is an attempt to determine the time of creating Sprawa chędoga o męce Pana Chrystusowej and Ewangelia Nikodema, the apocrypha included in the codex of Wawrzyniec from Łasko of 1544, on the basis of lexemic repartition of genitive and dative forms of masculine nouns. The analysis confirms the findings so far in this scope – inflectional phenomena attested in both texts present different linguistic states, and their specificity proves the old age of Sprawa chędoga language, which has the characteristics of the language of the fifteenth century.
