Summary/Abstract: The article attempts at establishing the scope of the technical determination of the graphic variance acknowledged in the first edition of Polish translation of the {Księgi o gospodarstwie} by Piotr Krescentyn (Kraków 1549, H. Unglerowa). The method applied consists in analyzing the distribution of opposite graphic forms in verses. In the investigated print, 16 variants have technical nature, most of them (15 variants) refer to the medieval writing tradition.
