Lean management. The concept of improving organizational efficiency

Summary/Abstract: Enterprises are constantly exploring the possibilities of increasing the efficiency of their activities. They seek sources of innovation and try to develop a competitive superiority. They bother to reduce costs and at the same time shape responsible and committed employees. The lean management concept shows the possibilities to achieve these desired effects. The purpose of the paper is to show the essence of the concept of lean management. Moreover, in the article will be presented the principles, which will allow in shaping proper organization. Key elements of lean organizational culture and aspects of innovation will be discussed.
