Summary/Abstract: Human capital is now treated as the most important resource of any organization. Employee involvement, innovation, the quality of their work, the ability to build appropriate relationships and to meet the needs of customers/applicants determine the success or failure of each project. Job satisfaction is associated with loyalty to the organization, low turnover and absenteeism, and showing initiative. The studies conducted so far have shown that a satisfied employee fulfills his duties with greater commitment and the quality of his work is higher. Therefore, job satisfaction has become one of the determinants of effective management and thus, which is fully understandable, still triggers a lively discussion and is the subject of many theoretical studies and empirical research. The aim of the publication is to present the results of empirical research conducted between August and October 2019, aimed at identifying factors influencing job satisfaction among women employed in public administration in the Dolnośląskie Voivodeship, on the example of one of the inspectorates of the Social Insurance Institution. Additionally, the aim of the study was to try to identify possible differences between the factors influencing job satisfaction among female employees belonging to different generations (generations X, Y, Z). The obtained results were also used to verify the model satisfaction factors characteristic of the above generations
