Summary/Abstract: Fatima, who has an important place in the history of Islam and in the minds of Muslims, is an exemplary person handled in oral and written sources. In Turkish-Islamic literature, the perception of Fatima about the imagination of the society has been conveyed to the present day by people who say / write. Folklore products can be reproduced in different types and shapes by changing / transforming over time. The written culture environment has changed the oral folk narrative tradition and caused differentiation in its execution. The digressions created by the narrator in the transitions between oral cultural environments contributed to the formation of an intermediate type. Although the word Liminal is used to indicate the permeability between verbal and written culture, as a text; It shows both the oral narratives and the works written to be told. Fatima among the people; He is a religious personality that is explained in every setting because of the issues such as being the only child of the prophet Muhammad's family, his birth, marriage, exemplary life, children and death. The Fatimah narratives, which were carried in the oral culture through rumors, were later written down and changed. However, while some of the information about Fatima are being written from word to word and written to be told, it has been observed that some events complement, support each other and try to put them in a chronological order. The scope of the study; It is based on some fieldwork data, published and unpublished texts. In the study Based on W. J. Ong's verbal communication term, which includes verbal and written narration, the interdiscursivite / intertextuality perspective was used and the contribution of digressions in the narratives about Fatima to the threshold texts was evaluated. Verbal culture data; It has been handled and examined in terms of execution, content and structure. With this study, it has been shown that the verbal narratives about Fatima are reshaped according to the characteristics of the age, the narrator and the listener environment while being passed down from generation to generation, and the parts related to thinking and speaking of the holy people, who are accepted as exemplary figures in the society, complement each other.
