Summary/Abstract: In the article the author discusses lesson characteristics of selected classes at primary and secondary schools for deaf children. The research of lesson structure and the effects of learning goal and objective implementation during Polish language lessons led to the conclusion that there is a need for a change in teaching methods of hearing-impaired children. The perspective of using methods of foreign language pedagogy in teaching hearing impaired children in order to achieve the intended learning effects opens the research barely explored in Polish science. Based on the collected material it was noted that a necessity exists to verify the approach to teaching deaf and hard-of-hearing people Polish language, because the current teaching methods are ineffective.
