Summary/Abstract: The Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Namık Kemal University, as the official publisher, is proud to present the first issue of Humanitas International Journal of Social Scienceswhose Science and Advisory Boards are constituted by national and international prominent academics. In accordance to our aim of sharing the works of researchers in the fields of humanities and social sciences, the first issue of our Journal containsqualified studies of different concerns. Hoping to be a source of research in the whole science field of humanities, we are honored to present our Journal to the scientific, cultural and artistic world.The first issue of our Journal consists of twelve articles, presented in the order of author names and covering different fields, such as sociology, human sources, American theatre, British literature, cinema, detective novel, English novel, comparative literature, social studies education, and French as a foreign language.
