Resolutions of the European Parliament regarding the condition of Poland’s judicial system in Polish Television’s “Wiadomości”

Summary/Abstract: In the paper we analyse contents of every television news which appeared in the min editions od Polish television main news program – Wiadomości – that related to European Parliament’s resolutions regarding polish judicial system. The research sample spans from January 2016 to Setember 2021. We tried to characterize ways of presenting the topic in the program. It shows that Wiadomości’s narration goes hand in hand with the ruling coalition optics. That was not surprising. We concentrated on analysing means used by program’s editorial staff while reporting on Poland – EU dispute.
