Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on oral herstory in Poland. An autoethnographic experiment – the subject of this research were experiences related to the author’s activity in the field of oral herstory – served as a framework for the selection of the analysed projects and their interpretation from the position of insiders. The outcome is an epistemological model of oral herstory consisting of three interrelated fields: feminist research into history (women/gender/queer), educational activities and a political project of “inventing (feminist) tradition”.
