Summary/Abstract: The study addresses ECHR case law on vaccination. From the perspective of the Strasbourg court, voluntary or compulsory vaccination is analyzed, in principle, as an interference with the right to respect for private life provided by art. 8 of the Convention. In order to comply with the European Convention on Human Rights, such a measure must have a legal basis in national law, pursue a legitimate aim, be necessary and proportionate.
