Summary/Abstract: “The Integrated Review” was published on March 16, 2021 with a foreword of the Prime Minister, but it was not the only document on foreign and security policy. It was accompanied by an act published a week later entitled “Defence in a Competitive Age.” In Boris Johnson’s own words, it is the most ambitious strategic plan the Great Britain has produced since the end of the Cold War. In addition to drawing attention to its ambitions to be a scientific and technological power, at the forefront of cybersecurity, and protect the environment, the British Strategic Review sets out how it sees its current and future relationships on the international stage with other countries. The article’s aim is to analyze the vision of Global Britain, as presented in the form of the document “Global Britain in a competitive age: The Integrated Review of Security, defence, development and foreign policy”, in terms of its relevance to Central and Eastern Europe.
