Summary/Abstract: This study was conceived with an aim to examine the idea that despite belonging to two significantly different regions, it is possible to draw the conclusion that the same or similar historical experiences indicate analogous formations of national sentiments, type of nationalism which is applied to state-building and national identity. Before conducting this study, it was verified that both countries had compatible points which had been analysed thought the article.
