Summary/Abstract: Global communication technologies have become omnipresent nowadays, having a great impact on all aspects of life. Their advanced progression has had a considerable influence on the educational process, which they have optimized, leading to significant changes in planning and forwarding the curriculum. Music technologies developed a revolution in teaching-learning-assessment processes all over the world and continue to be considered valuable tools that boost education and assure continuity in periods of crisis.The use of ICT in recent decades has generated the extension of objectives in music education from developing the ability to understand music and perform it using voice and musical instruments, to composition, which becomes an aim for all school children commencing to study music at a young age. Therefore, using the access to hardware and software resources, music technologies have designed a golden age where the public has access to each and every tool needed to create musical compositions. ICT has the credit of contributing to the importance that music sessions should have in the educational frame of the cultural field and classify the discipline in the sphere of subjects that naturally facilitate interdisciplinarity, a potential that we need to build on.
