Summary/Abstract: Romanian investments in tourism could not save the unfavorable impression created on foreign tourists by the poor professional training of the Romanian service personnel with whom they came into contact and by the insufficient technical endowments on the Romanian Black Sea seaside. In 1964 there were problems regarding leisure, finding places for entertainment and the purchase by foreign tourists of more expensive and national Romanian goods.
