Summary/Abstract: Psychology deals with issues related to human cognitive activity, the realm of human perception or human emotion. FLOW was created from positive psychology, a theory developed by Mihály Csíkszentmihályi and Martin Seligman. In this study, we present why the FLOW state of consciousness may play a role in education, and why it is worthwhile to apply this methodology in university education. In our research, we are presenting education based on experience and flow, and its possible use in education. We think further research on Group Flow is important, because in education synchronicity and the collective usage of skills play an essential role in developing soft skills. This is important because students visiting the labor market should be aware of their productivity’s development. Working in teams means having common goals and working together for achieving them, and this is only possible if there are proper skills available, such as creativity. We can prove that one member’s creativity can escalate to other members of the team, too. Our research shows that students today are fond of learning through own experience and it shows how many think that they can get an experience-based knowledge and what they think about this experience. The most important aim of this research is to make a suggestion based on observations as to how education should be developed and what elements we need to teach students through experience. Positive psychology is a relatively young field of science, however, the trend considers the attitudes defined by human emotions to be the basic starting point for learning. The representatives of the trend emphasize that every learning situation has some kind of experience and emotion in it. In order for students to be able to master their studies properly, the supportive environment and the incorporation of good experiences in education are also important, because they help the development of individuals and at the same time the development of positive qualities.
