Summary/Abstract: The Church „St. Athanasius and Cyril” from Iași, with the branch „Fox” Church (Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary) brings to the fore unique documents in its own archive, a collection of documents discovered in the church attic, together with the preventive archaeological research, in 2017. This archive includes files with files dating from the middle of the 19th century until 1983, most of them containing data on the income and expenses of the Parish „St. Athanasius and Cyril” and the „Fox” Church. This article is a study dedicated to the philanthropic purposes initiated by the parish priests who pastored at this church, between 1923 and 1929, by organizing celebrations, in order to obtain funds for the repair of the two places of worship
