CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE EPISTOLARY DIALOGUE BETWEEN CAPTAIN MIHAIL DUMITRAȘCU AND THE SECRETARIES OF ASTRA: ROMUL SIMU AND HORIA PETRA PETRECU (FEBRUARY 14 - AUGUST 4, 1927)

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the epistolary dialogue between the magistrate captain Mihail Dumitrașcu from the War Council from Constanța, an older collaborator of Astra, since the period when he worked in Sibiu and the secretaries of the Association, Romul Simu and Horia Petra Petrescu. The letters are dated between February and August 1927 and briefly set out the activity of the Initiative Committee in Constanța, chaired by General Ion Vladescu who sought and managed to establish theRegional Astra Dobrogean structure that would cover the area of Caliacra counties, Constanta,Durostor, Ialomița, Tulcea. After two years of activity, the above-mentioned region ceased its activity, remaining in the structures of the Association only the Astra Constanța County Central Department, active until 1928-1939. The same officer M. Dumitrașcu was also involved in the reconstitution efforts of the Constanta partition of Astra in 1935.
