Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the system of phonological accent in South Khanty Irtysh dialects found in archive of M. A. Castrén in Helsinki and in the modern Nizjam dialect of Khanty language (field data, 2012). It turned out that the place of stress in these dialects in non-derivative words is identical.
