Summary/Abstract: Increased migration to Poland and at the same time anincrease in anti-immigrant attitudes cause that social pedagoguesface a new challenge related to the integrationand inclusion of migrants. In the article I focus on a transformationof social pedagogues roles due to the mentionedabove social changes and new challenges – the discoursethe introduces symbolic violence, learned helplessnessand lack of agency of migrants, and the insufficient numberof social pedagogues with intercultural and andragogicalcompetence. Based on these difficulties faced by socialpedagogues I describe what could be their role in the processof integration of migrants and the host society
