I made an overview of different, but congruent theories, views and definitions from international politics, anthropology and sociology area with an aim to answer the question - what is Europeanisation. In short, Europeanisation is a process complementary to Euro-integrations. With respect to this issue, Europeanisation is an influence of standards, structures, institutions of - the EU on other countries. Taking into account effects of Europeanisation, in this paper I questioned its connection with globalisation. In this respect, I singled out three understandings of Europeanisation: Euro-globalisation, Euro-- glocalisation and anti-globalisation. On the other hand, I commented on a socio-constructivist approach, developed by Delanty and Rumford, who define Europeanisation as a cosmopolitan response to globalisation.

This work follows the reception of archeological discovery of skeleton 1/06 inResava (Manasia) monastery, which was interpreted as Stefan Lazarevic among scientists and in public discourse. The starting point was the possibility of anthropological research of archeological practice in Serbia. Thisis the origin of the body of questions on howarcheological structures are transformed into text. After denoting the skeleton 1/06 from Resava(Manasia) monastery as Stefan Lazarevic, archeologists and the public raised the question of the remains that were previously discovered in Koporinmonastery and interpreted as relics of Stefan Lazarevic. The paper explores the logic and research goals of these interpretations. Political context of archeological research and the interpretation of archeological texts point to the necessity of understanding the responsibility of archeology as a discipline. By denoting the remains found during the archeological diggings as relics, they commence their afterlife which has significant implications for constructing the segments of medieval past and understanding the national past.

Although sociology is a modern discipline, sociologists in Bosnia and Herzegovina must consider distant past and present to tackle the questions of identity, nationality, ethnicity, language and religion. Sociological prominence had gained its focus in post-war Bosnia and Herzegovina because of conflict resolution, peace building and overall social transformations and emerging challenges and issues. Such transformation of post-war Bosnian society coupled with a socio-political and economic crisis had opened the door for sociological and anthropological studies and research. Postwar society that eventually aims at a just peace, as Bosnia and Herzegovina where genocide had taken place, cannot without addressing sociological dimensions of war, justice, law and morality. Sociology as a discipline, within the institutional context, has also undergone significant changes and transformations. Using a survey approach, this paper aims to analyze why sociology is significant discipline in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Indeed, it is significant to analyze sociological and institutional transformations and their influence on the creation of new social models related to identity, nationality, religion, language, ethnicity, conflict resolution, war and justice.

Thought experiments in the physics of the 20th century played a crucial role in the development of theoretical concepts, especially in absence or unsuitability of experimental data. In social sciences, for ethical and other reasons, the very utilization of the experiment as a methodological tool has been highly disputed. Thus, it has not only been rarely performed, but its implications, if any, had almost no practical value. Science fiction as a genre is perfectly suited to complement an actual performing of an experiment in anthropology, providing hypothetical scenarios that serve to predict possible future(s) of humanity, but that are, at the same time, challenging prevailing theories and even trying to establish new ones, by moving current theoretical problems into another, more helpful and more constructive territory, the one of the thought experiment. The article examines a number of short stories belonging to the science fiction genre that deal with core anthropological issues such as the definition of 'human', the role of adaptation in human evolution, the development of social groups and establishment of complex societies, appreciation of other cultural systems and the relation of humans to the universe. By doing this, it promotes the utilization of science fiction not only as methodological tool for research purposes, but even more as a valuable tool for teaching anthropology.

The aim of this paper is to connect Kretchmer and Sheldon’s constitutional typology with concepts belonging to homeopathic theory and practice and ayurveda heritage. An attempt to synthesize psychological approaches and paradigms of alternative medicine has been made. This is followed by directions for further examination of these issues and several standpoints on possibilities for empirical reexamination of heritage of some unconventional disciplines within the branch of personality psychology.

The aim of this text is to show how the motif about collective mind / genetic memory of aliens is used as a mean for construction of the identification marker which substantially differs human from alien races, and which is built on the opposition between individual and collective identity as relational characteristics of humans, and their alien enemies. Examples from shows and films "Battlestar Galactica", "Star Trek", "Stargate", and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers (Third Beings)" will be used as explanatory material.

The article attempts to lay out the research area of three major concepts: history, memory, and language. Because each of them is polysemous and can relate to different ontological domains in different situations (extralinguistic reality, textual or narrative reality), an attempt is made to add precision to the semantics of the words that express these concepts. There are complex relationships between the meanings of each of the words (i.e., between history1 and history2, or memory1 and memory2) and in the “horizontal” aspect between history1 and memory1 or history2 and memory2. Each of these arrangements has a unique linguistic characterization but there are also five features that function as the common denominator between the three constructs of history2 (i.e., historiography), memory2 (accounts of the content of memory), and the linguacultural worldview: subjectivity, narration, selectivity, interpretation, and “languaging”. That common denominator makes it possible to juxtapose and compare the diverse pictures of the same section of reality.
